Hi,
My wife and I both ran into an issue recently with duplicate items on our Amazon.com orders this Christmas shopping season - wondering if any others are seeing something similar or is it just PEBCAK?
1) Couple of weeks ago my wife places an order on her amazon account for a couple of books (x1 per book). The order arrives showing one of the books was listed twice on the order, and she was billed for both copies of said book.
2) Last week I placed an order for 3 different books, along with 2 other non-book items. So, 5 items x1. I checked my order today and noticed that 1 of my books was listed twice in my order, and was charged for both copies/received both copies.
The weird thing is that my order lists the duplicates separately, instead of x2. Both copies of the book are being sold by Amazon (not a 3rd party).
So, it looks like my original order did have the duplicates, and I just didn't notice it (not sure how I would have missed it, but whatever). But I'm not sure how I got a duplicate copy into my order to begin with, or how my wife did. We're not amazon noobs, and have placed other orders on amazon this season/throughout the year without issue.
Anyone else getting a duplicate item added to their order this shopping season on amazon?
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
